Today, we're going to take a look at the 2" wide by 6' long continuous steel hinge, for a quantity of one. Now, this is a continuous steel hinge, also called a piano hinge. It's used on doors, panels, or boxes. It does rotate 270 degrees, in other words, the range of motion on this hinge from all the way closed to all the way open goes 270 degrees. Now, this one has no pre-drilled holes, so it's easy to weld, or you can drill it to match your applications.And the measurement on this, the width of it is measured in the full open position, like this. Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Polar Flush Hinge. This hinge is for use on cabinets, service vehicles and utility trucks. It revolves on nylon bushings for nice, smooth operation and it's made from stainless steel so it's very strong and durable and does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion.The holes are all drilled out and counter sunk for number 10 screws, which are not included but it does contain a total of six mount holes.The overall length of the unit when it's laying flat like this, so from the very back of the base to the very end of the strap, that gives us a measurement of around five and a half inches long. The base of the hinge measures, three and one quarter inches long by about one and three-sixteenths inches wide.I also took a measurement from the center of the connection point right here, to the very end of the strap. And that gives us a measurement of about four and nine-sixteenths of an inch, to four and five-eighths inches right in that area.At the widest point of the strap, which is this point here at the back. That measures one and fifteen-sixteenths of an inch wide and it tapers all the way down to seven-eighths of an inch wide.The strap holes, this one and this one are separated on center, by one and three-eighths of an inch. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the over the seal hinge from Polar Hardware. This hinge is designed to bridge door moldings or door seals. It's going to give about a two and three quarter inch clearance, we can tell that by taking a measurement from this area down here, to where the strap lays flat on the surface, so if we do that measurement you can see that that's where we're going to get about the two and three quarter clearance from. This is made from and aluminum construction, the narrow bracket is designed for where spacing is limited. Mounting hardware is not included so that does need to be provided separately. Here at the hinge it's going to feature a non-removable pin for maximum security. Now if we take a measurement of the strap length, measuring from the hinge to the end of the strap, we can see that that's gong to give us a measurement of right around twelve inches so the strap length is twelve inches. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the square corner hinge with the reverse bracket. It's going to be made from a stainless construction which is highly resistant towards rust and corrosion and it's got a nice polished design to add some style. This is designed to mount on the corner of your trailer which is going to allow your door to fully swing. This allows for a door swing of 270 degrees, the mounting hardware is not included. Here on the hinge portion it's going to feature a non-removable pin for maximum security and then it's going to have 2 spacers in the hinge, this is really going to help extend the life of the hinge and allow for easy non-binding opening and closing. A few measurement to go over with you real quick, the strap length measuring from this portion right here to the end of the strap, that's going to give us the measurement of 16 inches. Overall length from edge to edge is going to measure about 16 and a half inches. more

Redline Enclosed Trailer Parts - Doors - HP412G Review- Video

Today were going to review part number HP412G. This is the Redline 1/2-inch diameter Greaseable Hinge Pin. This hinge pin is welded to either the outer frame of the trailer or the gate and door and then this is inserted into the welded hinge pin nipple to create a custom heavy duty hinge. This is used when building your own hinge, its great for trailers and agriculture applications. This is a grease-able hinge pin which means it has a Zerk fitting right here on the very end and basically what that means is you can attach your grease gun to the end of this fitting and pump grease into the inside which will come out this hole right here and spread all along the length of the hinge pin which will lubricate the total hinge. Ill give you a few measurements on this, total length of this pin is 4-1/2 inches, the outer diameter is going to be a 1/2 inch. more
